County Criminal Records

Recommended on all applicants. A five (5), seven (7), or ten (10) year search of criminal records can be conducted.

Employment Verification

This service can confirms information applicant’s resume, and verifies their previous job history. This helps eliminate any unexplained gaps in employment, which assures that appropriate jurisdictions have been checked for criminal records.

Education Verification

MIS’ will contact universities, colleges, high schools, etc., to verify dates of attendance, degrees, diplomas, certifications obtained, majors studied, GPA, and honors received if available. The verification of an applicant’s education is an important part of any background check.

SSN Trace/Address History

The information provided on the SSN trace allows you to cross check the applicant’s name and address history with the information listed in the resume/application for other names used and address inconsistencies.

Employee Credit Reports

Provides a person’s credit history Instantly and can include liens, judgments and bankruptcy information.

Professional Reference

Reference checking generally concerns qualitative matters such as job performance, strong/weak personality traits, and ability to work with others. This service is vital to obtain a quality overview of your applicant.

Motor Vehicle Report

MVR’s may provide license status, traffic violations, and an overview of whether the applicant keeps commitments to appear in court, pay fines, and/or has drug/alcohol problems. Information varies by state.

Drug Screening

Choose from over 9,000 collection sites across the United States. that provide urinalysis, hair and alcohol drug screening. We offer 5, 7, 9 10 and more panels if needed. State-of-the-art GC/MS confirmation is done on all positive samples and verified by a Medical Review Officer at no additional charge.

Sex Offender Registry

The Nationwide Sex Offender Registry includes sex-offender records provided by each state. Reports contain information on sex offenders from 50 states plus the District of Columbia. The offense Levels listed will vary by state.

Nationwide Criminal Database

Instant database search consisting of millions of records covering all 50 States. Data contained in this search can come from statewide repositories, local county information, Department of Corrections, sex offender registries, and Administration of Courts records.

Statewide Criminal Records

Directly accesses the State’s criminal records repository covering every County in the State. Searches will normally provide felony and Misdemeanor information going back at least 7 years. Information varies by state.

Federal Criminal Records

Directly accesses the Federal District Court Repository to identify criminal convictions on Federal charges.

Nationwide Sex Offender

A simultaneous search of 49 state’s sex offender Registries and the District of Columbia. Information varies by state.

County Civil Records

Determine whether your applicant previously has sued or been sued for reasons relevant to employment. This search will identify suits filed by individuals or corporations, including product liability suits, civil rights violations, judgment for non payment of goods.

The licensing agency will be contacted to verify your applicant’s license(s) and certification(s) held. Information normally includes, license status, expiration dates and any negative information on file.

Patriot Act/Terrorist Watch list

Federal law and various government agencies have implemented screening requirements for certain industries, while all Americans and businesses are mandated to avoid transactions with individuals designated by the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC).

FACIS

Fraud and Abuse Control Information Systems is a web based service allowing you to conduct a search of disciplinary actions taken by federal agencies, as well as those taken by licensing and certification agencies in all 50 states. This is the most comprehensive search method available.

DEA

Federal Drug Enforcement Administration checks will verify that a practicing healthcare provider remains in good standing and free of any recorded drug-related disciplinary actions.

NPDB

National Practitioner Data Bank searches identify alerts associated with the credentials of healthcare professionals who may have had adverse actions taken. This search normally includes information involving licensure, clinical privileges and medical malpractice payment histories.

HIPDB

Healthcare Integrity and Protection Data Bank searches Practitioners involved in healthcare fraud and abuse that could cost your organization millions of dollars. It identifies healthcare practitioners, providers, and suppliers involved in healthcare fraud and abuse.

OIG & GSA

Searches U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services and the Office of Inspector General’s database for individuals and businesses excluded or sanctioned from participating in Medicare, Medicaid, or other Federally funded programs.

Bankruptcy Records

Assists in identifying all filings of bankruptcy by an individual or business.

Lien and Judgment Records

Identifies all filings of lien and judgments for an individual or business.

FDA – Debarment List

The FDA Disqualified List and the FDA Debarment List are two well known resources for inquiring about the status of investigators who the FDA designates as no longer acceptable to perform clinical research.
